Squirrels in the attic???
Sorry - quick question... how can one get squirrels out of the attic??? How can you even be sure they are there in the first place?? I keep hearing this scratching sound coming from the ceiling in our closet - but anytime we go up to look for them in the attic we don't really see any evidence that they have been there...

is your home stucco?! We had them in our attic ... you have to find where they are going in ... set a trap in the attic catch them - and then close up the hole - they will continue to come back for ever if you don't get the hole fixed -
a owl will help so will fox pee - gross i know you can buy it off line, but becareful it stinks to high heaven.

It's been a long time since we had that problem in another house but you do need to find out where they are coming in from. Plug the spot.
I know back in Chicago they did sell something. Things have changed most likely since then and the squirrels are being protected by some group.
It's wonderful that you get to focus on this happy time - but it's totally understandable that you be nervous about sharing it with others!
Call an exterminator!!
